If
you haven't setup an account yet in Outlook express, when you
start the program it will look like this:
(Just type in your name.)
 |
Now type in your email address, you have one
already so you don't need to sign up for a new one. |
 |
Type
in your server info as follows:
POP3 Server = pop3.norcalhosting.net
SMTP Server = smtp.norcalhosting.net |
 |
Now
type in your User name and Password: |
 |
That's
it for this wizard, click finish and go on to the next step.
|
 |
Now
the program will start, but we need to set your reply address.
Go to the Tools Menu and select "Accounts". |
 |
Click
on the "mail" tab, select the account you just setup,
and click "properties". |
 |
You
can give this account a friendly name or just leave it alone.
Under "User Information" cut and paste
your email address to the reply field. Click "OK"
on this window, and "Close" on the next window.
|
 |
| Now
change to the servers tab, and check the box that says "my
server requires authentication". This is for your outgoing
mail, you will not be able to send mail unless this is checked. |
 |
You
are done.
You may want to select the check box in the mail window to startup
automatically in the "inbox".
This will be at the bottom of the window on the right.
Happy emailing! |
